I think it is relevant to mention food. What is strange is that there is no standard method of telling what “food” is. It seems that the hungrier a person is, the more things start to look like something they can eat. When this happens, they call it food. To make it more confusing, they start adding adjectives to better describe that food. I have heard of “fast food”, “Chinese food”, “Mexican food”, and “Health food”. My question is, if a person is in Mexico, they are eating healthy food that was “Made in China”, and they eat it in less than a minute, does that make it Chinese Mexican Health Fast food?
I can say that food is certainly relevant to my life and it probably is to yours. The reason is simply because without food, people die quickly. Still, we could debate forever about the definition of food. For me, the best definition is, if somebody eats it, it is food.
Not only do I eat food and work in a store that sells food. I go a step further and write about food. The fact that my writing contains metaphors comparing other things to food is evidence that food is very relevant.
