New Podcast Series

Hey people. I’m not sure how many follow my blog but if you do, you’ll notice I haven’t been writing much. I’d been doing a lot of podcasting however.

And I’d like to announce a new podcast which I am doing with Monique Lukens. It’s focused on the lifestyle of veganism and celibacy. Guests are welcome to join us if interested. Here are descriptions and links of the first two episodes. The current plan is to publish a new one each month.

Celibate Vegan Compadres 1. Chandler and Monique on Asexuality, Celibacy, and Veganism

This is a conversation I had on Skype with Monique Lukens.

I had misunderstood the thing about the Coast to Coast thing. What I was going to record was Monique’s meetup. However, the others were not interested and so basically it turned into the two of us talking. However it was a very good talk. We talked about asexuality, celibacy, and a lot of other strange things.

The only real problem is the noise where Monique was at and the call was dropped a few times and we had to restart. In any case I think it’s still a really good talk that shows things from the perspective of two asexuals and how they see sexuality in the culture.

Celibate Vegan Compadres 2. People Don’t Understand Us

Chandler Klebs and Monique Lukens are a minority within a minority. They talk about their experiences with people who misunderstand them both in the context of being asexuals who want to remain celibate and being vegan in a world filled with carnists. The audio of this episode was a lot better than the previous one because Monique was in a quieter place with less noise.

I have unusual thoughts on almost every subject. I am as Pro-Life as I can possibly be. I am strongly opposed to violence of any type. That includes rape, war, and (obviously) abortion. Everything I think, speak, and write must be filtered by the effect it could have on the lives of others. If I am in any way promoting violence accidentally, please let me know.
